Responsibilities:
- Compile weekly marketing forecast table based on sales team data.
- Track SHANGHAI inventory, and remind HQ if any box will face shortage.
- Apply for W/O and keep in contact with depot for truck moving update plan and confirmation.
- Monitor damaged box repair speed and communicate with HQ for any damaged box pending approval.
- Work with HQ to deal with container damage complaints at POD or POL.
- Record box in-out table and calculate Truck and detention charge.
- Communicate with Agencies to track boxes for inspection by Customs and CIQ.
- Arrange detention waiver based on confirmation between Sales and HQ.
- Find and correct Genesis EDI errors and sequence errors.
- Check DG data is complete 48 hours before vessel voyage direction ETA and push POL to provide it.
- Work with HQ to identify which DG shipment can be accepted in SHANGHAI and check POL automated manifest system file.
- Prepare import manifest and EDI data 48 hour before vessel voyage direction is estimated to arrive at Shanghai
- Check import detention waiver and collect charges before D/O exchange
- Arrange Int’ T/S shipment second leg space and Monitor Int’ T/S customs declaration terminal release
- Coordinate movement of inbound empty with equipment depot
- Compile feeder VVD info, update ITT LDF process, taking note of POD on the latest schedule.
- Upload detention fee / CPF to LT system, and provide freight list of import cargo to Accounts team
- Follow up on import shipments and explore new opportunities
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a container-related industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the China market and its specific challenges and opportunities.
